Stormsvlei Restaurant & Farm stall

Stormsvlei Restaurant & Farm stall is the perfect stopover for travellers on the N2 highway between Cape Town and the scenic Garden Route, in the Western Cape. Here you are certain to be spoiled with good traditional home-cooked food and refreshing drinks in the beautiful show garden, or a cosy corner inside, depending on the weather.

Only 2 hours' drive from Cape Town, you will find the small town of Stormsvlei on the southern bank of the Zonderend River (river without end). On visiting the Stormsvlei Restaurant, you can relax in a peaceful atmosphere, admire the beautiful garden, ponder on the rich history of the place, or wander through the farm stall, where delectable products, mainly of local origin, are for sale.

The Stormsvlei Farm stall is also one of very few places       where the popular dried hydrangeas of Mary Spies'              Country Flowers, are available to be sold to the public.

The crossing of the river from Bonnievale side is via an old iron, single width bridge, then passes the hamlet of Stormsvlei on the left. Five hundred meters further the road forms a T-junction with the N2. A left turn will take you to Swellendam and a right turn will take you to Riviersonderend.
